I am sure I felt an aftershock this morning Thursday 9/15 at about 5:45 a.m. in Frederick, MD just before getting out of bed…it was maybe 2-3 seconds in duration, but very distinct. However, nobody I have asked about it shared the experience. How can I affirm that it was indeed an aftershock, and learn more about it?
You could check the USGS aftershocks map for that event – they do not have anything listed there for yesterday morning, though: http://earthquake.usgs.gov/earthquakes/seqs/events/se082311a/
