I did a double-take at this photo: a four-legged insect? After a little more thinking, I suppose those “feelers” that seem to be sprouting from its head are actually the third set of legs, originating from close to, but behind the head, on the ventral surface. Correct?
Yes, right: there are two of the legs stretched out front, extending the stick like form another few inches. Parallel to them are the equally long and skinny antennae.
