monocline?
Wouldn’t that be a monocline?
I reckon that depends on the greater regional context… What happens to the left – does it flatten back out to horizontal again? Does it arch down again to the right? In terms of pure description (not regional interpretation, understand), is there any functional difference between the anticline that is the upper “hinge” of a monoclinal step and an asymmetrical anticline without a surrounding monocline? 🙂
