Samuele Papeschi has contributed another Friday fold for our delectation:
He describes this outcrop as:
East-verging folds in a dextral shear zone at Neves Glacier, South-Tyrol, Italy.
Thanks for sharing, Samuele!
If anyone else has a Friday fold to share, please get in touch!
Happy Friday to all. Enjoy your weekend.
I think my little toothpaste fold rock is a candidate but I know it has no context other than found on a beach in the town of Comiza on the island of Viz, Croatia in the Adriatic so probably not what you are looking for.
Need a real close-up shot of it…
