That’s great! I was hearing about this from some of the participants but I didn’t get to see it, glad you blog’d it!
The Geology Wing at Juniata College has a time scale marked on the wall in the long hall. Time period changes in the instruction of historical geology cause a “field trip” to the hallway. I knew I was getting the concept of geologic time when I walked out and thought that 53 million years was not very long ago.
